Rainbow Blogfeb2015

For the next two weeks I will be with our Year 11 Computing students visiting Silicon Valley, San Francisco and LA. Over the last four years this has become a focal point for Townley's innovative computing work. It is a unique opportunity for our students made possible by the strong relationships we have built with the industry. Our leading edge status in this field means we have been hosting international teams interested in developing their own computing curriculum. So far we have visits from Malaysia, Sweden, Netherlands and Singapore.

For me personally the trip is an opportunity to get to know some of the brightest minds and hardest working students at Townley. I am always immensely proud of our students abroad and always receive such positive feedback from our US contacts.

This year Computer Weekly, the computing magazine, have asked me to write a daily blog so I have included the link below for you to follow.
