Our school is getting ready for the biggest fundraiser ever for Wear It Pink - Breast Cancer Now day on Friday this week.

Thank you to Mrs Brittle, Assistant Headteacher for organising this event and a big thanks goes to our Mrs Fitzgerald for organising such a fantastic display in our school reception area.

To raise money, during this week, we have organised events including a Krispy Kreme sale, Sixth Form Race for Life, a raffle, bake sale and finally a Wear It Pink Day on Friday 19th to end the half term. On Friday 19th, students will pay £1 to wear one item of pink. This can be accessories or 1 item of clothing, in support of the charity and must be worn alongside their Townley uniform. Additionally, we will be selling pins, wristbands and headbands with the charity logo, which will be £1 each, in the dining hall during lunchtime.

Some wonderful gifts have been donated for our raffle prizes, including this gorgeous bear donated by Mrs Sargeant, Computing.  Thank you!

We will keep you posted on the amount raised.

Even staff have been getting in on the cuddles!
