"Never give up ... no one knows what's going to happen next" Dorothy

This term we celebrated with Head Girl's Day and The Head of Sixth Form, Miss Thurlow and her sixth form team organised the event superbly!.

This occasion is always a day full of emotions for our senior students and every year the speeches and the presentations become better and better.  We were delighted that the Mayor of Bexley and the local MP Sir David Evennett were able to participate in this special school event.  There were heart felt and emotional speeches from our outgoing Senior Officers recapping on their journey through school, which really linked to the theme of the Wizard of Oz and how the Senior Officers have mixed emotions;  sad to be leaving but also happy to be moving onto the next chapter of their lives.  The era of their secondary school journey is coming to an end.

A huge thanks has to go to all our staff and students who make the event such a highlight in the school calendar.  A special mention of thanks to our Head of Music, Mr Ting who organised the music to accompany the event and a special thanks to Mr Oliver Hassan a former student who conducted brilliantly.  The Sound of Jerusalem being sung by our students was amazing.

The Senior Officers would also like to thank our Art Department and Head of Art Ms Chipol, and the A Level Art students for producing the beautiful artwork for the Programme. It really did set the theme and tone beautifully and encapsulate the feelings of the day.
