Exciting Opportunity: Hosting for School Exchange with London Academy in Morocco!
We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for your child to host a Moroccan student from our partner school London Academy (Casablanca and Rabat) in Morocco. Our Moroccan partners are coming to visit our school from Sunday 8th to Wednesday 11th July. These dates are still being considered and we will confirm the final dates with you as soon as practicable.
We are looking for 24 families who would be willing to host a Moroccan student. After the 11th July, the Moroccan group will then move to a hotel in Central London and spend a few days sightseeing around the capital. There is a chance that your child might also be invited to some outings during that time. This will be known with certainty once numbers are finalised and therefore London Academy will be able to plan an itinerary accordingly.
Hosting a Moroccan Student:
We are seeking families who are willing to host a Moroccan student in their home for the 4 days around the dates aforementioned. This includes providing accommodation and meals for the student throughout their stay. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your family life and culture with your guest. It is also an opportunity for your child to create new lasting friendships. As some students have already been to the school on the school trip last year, it can also be an opportunity for them to rekindle their relationship with students from our partner school.
Applying for the Program:
As part of the host family program, the school has a statutory obligation to facilitate an enhanced DBS check including a children's barred list check for all host families and members of the household who are over the age of 16. The school is also obliged to inform you that our insurance provider does not provide coverage for third party liability for any incidences that may occur within your home.
