Reminders for Christmas Events:
Save the Children ‘Christmas Jumper Day’
Tomorrow, Thursday 12th December – Students may wear a Christmas Jumper over the usual school uniform. Please note this is not a non-school uniform day so normal school uniform rules will apply but with the addition of a Christmas jumper. All students are encouraged to donate £1 to Save The Children, a charity donation box will be placed in the main school reception area.

End of term arrangements
As the term draws to an end, I can confirm the arrangements for the last day of term on Thursday 19th December. The last day will be a charity non-uniform day, with donations collected in reception.
There will be normal timetabled lessons for periods 1 – 4, followed by a shortened lunch and early dismissal – all students will be dismissed by 1.30pm. There will be a limited service of hot and cold food available on the last day. Please note, students with free school meals will still have the opportunity to purchase a meal, either at break or the shortened lunch.

Year 7, 8 & 9
Lunch at 12.30 pm – 13.00 pm and dismissal at 13.10 pm
Year 10 & 11
Lunch at 13.00 pm – 13. 20 pm and dismissal at 13.25 pm
Year 12 & 13
Lunch at 13.00 pm – 13. 20 pm and dismissal at 13.00 pm
Abbey Travel have been informed in relation to our early finish . The Abbey Travel bus will leave at 1.45pm so that all students have the opportunity to get out to the bus. The 602 bus company have also been informed of the early finish.
Students will return to school for the Spring Term on Monday 6th January 2025.
