Continuing Professional Learning and Development
Townley Grammar School prides itself on its innovative approach to Teaching and Learning and the varying opportunities that allow staff to continually develop.
The personalised CPLD (Continuing Professional Learning and Development) pathways provide a personalised route for staff to navigate in developing their pedagogical practice with students at the heart of the process. This underpins our whole school ‘Work Kindly’ ethos and focuses on the 'Wellbeing' of staff and students alike.
In addition to the bespoke CPD programme that runs at Townley Grammar throughout the academic year, opportunities are regularly offered to all staff such as:
- SSAT Programmes such as The Middle Leadership Programme, The Legacy Project and The Aspiring Headteacher programme
- NPQs
- Membership and/or Fellowship at The Chartered College for Teaching and Learning
- MA certificates in Education- National College Teaching
- Google Workspace for Education Training with Gtech and Canopy Education
